IF you CHOOSE to have a gun, YOU are responsible for what is done with it and IF the manufacturer doesn't do everything possible to prevent a bad outcome from the use of its product, then why shouldn't they be open to a 'free market' lawsuit?

You just contradicted yourself.

Am I responsible for what the gun does, or is the manufacturer responsible for what the gun does? Without a user, the gun is a piece of cold steel. It does nothing, is capable of doing nothing.

I can't believe you are backing a lawsuit against a product that is legal, contains NO manufacturing malfunctions, is not harmful in it's manufactured state. You are saying let the lawyers sue because of it's potential to be used on a bad way. You need to start including car manufacturers becasue they kill a heckuva lot more people than guns. Your proiorities are scewed up. There is no basis for a lawsuit, except to try & bankrupt the gun manufacturers. Period end of story. You are falling for a line.

You need to check Kerrys' voting record. He is an anti-gun zealot. Alleged hunter and shooter aside, he will take the guns if he can. He is in bed with Hiliary, Schumer Feinstein and the rest of the anti-gun nuts.
