Why tie up courts and money just to throw the crap against the wall and see what sticks?

They have been thrown out. Most people want the lawsuit pre-emption bill. Anti-gun zealots, like Schumer, Kerry and Feinstein added all kinds of amendments to the bill to kill it. If a gun blows up in your face you can still sue the manuf. However, if the Columbine massacre happens again, the parents cannot sue Remington. Nor should they be able to.
