Pete: Hey, pal ... what gives? You missed a golden opportunity to take advantage of the dreaded "TED Effect". Your prior short position would have been instantly profitable if you had just asked me to buy a few hundred shares. You know, of course, that history has shown the stocks that I buy immediately tank, and the ones I sell rise to the occassion. The "TED Effect" was the obvious answer to your current enigma.

I'm really disappointed in your creative solution determination skills.
