I find your faith that the Administration could have cleaned up the corruption touching, but silly.

You are telling me that the administration could conduct a careful investigation into Oil for Food program, with all the massive resources at its disposal, and would not be able to turn up evidence to use to force a diplomatic reckoning? Should be far, far, easier than proving a case for war.

If your answer is no, then why believe the admin can find evidence of Saddam's failures?
