Ted, A link for your allegation that Kerry wants to emulate European economies, and not European unemployment rates.

Like I keep emphasizing, Ted, nothing occurs in a vacuum. The article came to the conclusion that the adoption of the euro and the European equivalent of Alan Greenspan can fix the high unemployment rates in Europe. But I think the article too easily dismissed the evidence that fundamental microeconomics and the rigidity of labor played a role. Remember, too, that the article was written during the "New Economy," so it might have based its conclusions on assumptions that proved to be invalid once the bubble burst.

As for Kerry, obviously he's going to promise all of the best from Europe without the associated negatives. Easy to say, especially for a "say anything" flipper like Kerry, but it flies in the face of economic reality.
