I find your point garbled, but I am happy to say, "look at the difficulty with getting solid intelligence" as a reason for pessimism about cleaning up the sanction busting activity. Since it appears that Saddam actively promoted the illusion that he was bristling with weapons, I cannot too much fault the professionals for their failure. I cannot fault the political leadership relying on the professionals at all.......
