The reason for doctors leaving areas is DUE to Insurance companies jacking up rates After the Stock Market Crash.They were artificially keeping rates low throughout the nineties because they made tons of money on stocks,bonds,derivatives,etc.We have had lawsuits in our profession forever but did you hear of any doctors leaving areas....NO........and believe me I don't love lawyers but I will testify for the plaintiffs if an egregious error is made.The medical profession has done a poor job of weeding out the bad apples.
