SA i think our whole nation lives on credit. Young I would buy used appliances all second hand products were by far more affordable. Now it is very difficult to give or sell used merchandise.

It is much easier now to buy on credit. You can purchase far more products at far less cost. Problem is most of it is bought as deposable increasing the size of our dumps.

Blix feels that our actions in Iraq served to increase terrorists.

Germany i think is concerned that the present situation is not going to end and could lead to an escalation of war throughout the area. This means she would have to protect herself with her own troops.

The whole darn middle east could become a war zone.


Nothing appears to be boding well for the US$. As other currencies rise costs will increase for China cost of commodities increase as she is pegged to the US. Pending on the political climate she could end up being forced into unpeg.
Nasty thought for many US companies who have had no reason to hedge the Yuan. Also this will bring on an increased concern for stronger currencies and possible product deflation.

All told, to me China better clear up her banking problems before trouble is on her door step.
