If you think Bush is more pampered than Kerry, you have not really researched the latter. While Bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Kerry was born with a complete 12 place settings of sterling in his double-speaking mouth. The latter's maternal Forbes family provided summer vacations in Brittany France for young John while a rich aunt paid his Yale tuition. That's right..........but unlike Bush he had to earn good grades.........he didn't have time to play, steal XMAS trees and get DUIs. Kerry actually studied and got excellent grades. Evidently being kept by wealthy women became his security blanket because wife #1 was an heiress worth mere millions, therefore he moved up to John Heinz' widow worth almost $1B. It's outright distortion of the facts to claim Kerry has not had a more privileged life than GW Bush. I am not saying that Kerry didn't come from the same milieu. I'm saying that he wasn't pampered like party boy Mr. Bush. The former never worked in the private sector, which best qualifies a candidate for the presidency. Kerry has always been a bureaucrat which does not bode well for his managerial style and explains his habitual straddle of every issue. Excuse me......did you see what Bush did in his two private industry jobs? Seriously, he was there simply for the ride. Practical private business experience demands a honed skill at making decisions. That's crucial for the Pres of U.S. In the modern world, flip-flopping and foot-dragging in the oval ofc leads to catastrophe for average Americans as was demonstrated on Sept 11. Hmmmmmmmm...........they announced today that the budget deficit for this year is over $400 billion, the Iraqi war has cost nearly $300 billion and is climbing; we're at odds with most of our allies; the GOP and Dems are at each others' throats in Congress......much worse than normal; more jobs have been lost under Bush than any other president since H. Hoover; al Qa'ida grows stronger etc. Seriously, Ann, you need to quit while you're ahead. In fact, I might have to start a new thread......Proof that GW Bush is unfit for Command!
