When Bush and his base talk in a derogatory and condescending way about gays, then they need to be reminded that they have one of their own who is like that and hence they should not try to gain a political advantage by denigrating the lifestyle. They should be more understanding of the "gay marriage" issue. In other words they should just shut up as Cheney did during the debate. I am record on this thread to have appreciated the way Cheney addressed that during his debate.

And then you have Bush bragging about constitutional amendment, yaadi yaadi yaada. And it serves him right when Kerry followed and hit him right on the head. As I say he got "Carvillized" and I hope that treatment wil make him more "civilized."

Bring it On.
