Alan (and all):

Thanks for the messages; I thought we could all use a laugh.

I find it unfortunate (for anyone holding TPII stock) that TPI has done such a piss poor job in advertising themselves. Fact is, it doesn't matter if TPI has a great Y2K solution, or is kicking butt in groupware, or has a cure for cancer; if the company is unable to get the word out - and keep its investors informed - then it just doesn't matter. Either no one's going to pay attention (ie, invest), or investors are going to bail (due to uncertaincies). Regardless, the stock price will suffer.

The name of the game (especially for a new, small company like TPI) is "Marketing" (which encompasses everything from press releases to trade shows to industry articles to building relationships with the stock's market makers and the investment community as a whole). It is a relatively simple game, with a singular goal: DRAW ATTENTION TO YOUR COMPANY!, yet TPI doesn't know how to play.

(And to those people that seem to equate this with "hyping" a stock, my answer to them is "Bullsh*t!" It has nothing to do with hyping a stock. It's marketing, plain and simple. Learn the difference.)

On a bit of a side note, I found something interesting (and possibly relevant to TPII?) today:

ps - Alan, I'd love to be your company's VP of PR (provided you want your company to do well, that is <g>). And thanks for continually posting these daily numbers...
