I think that fact that margins actually improved is a positive and hopefully a trend that will continue. What I can tell you is that companies that offer subscription of service models (i.e., oracle) have seen their margins go up year after year. The margins on support and subscription are much higher than on hardware products. This was a good quarter and if the trend continues any SUNW shareholder will be rewarded in the future; JMHO.
