You are the second person in a few days to suggest that I speak in riddles.
What I meant is this. Gays don't like to be told that homosexuality is a choice. That's the point that Kerry was making in the debate, unlike selectively nuanced bush, who said he does not know if it's a choice, but probably thinks it is a choice and is too CS (that's chicken shit) to say what he really thinks on this matter, for fear of offending the looney evangelicals that would follow him to hell (I mean heaven). Now, as an aside, it is widely believed that heterosexuals who think that homosexuality is a choice, have had homosexual fantasies or experiences, but that's a good subject for another post.
Hence, by associative law, since Mary IS indeed (openly) gay, it is very likely that Mary (privately) cottons up to what kerry said, but Mary can't publicly say that she likes what kerry said, because, well, dad could start another war in anger. Mary probably (privately) does not like what Mom (Lynne) said, since to criticize kerry for what HE said suggests that (privately) she (mom) does not agree with kerry's statement and implies that lesbians are sexual deviants, which is probably what mom (lynne) really thinks and has likely told Mary in private.
See, i don't have a problem writing clearly. :>)
