I cannot believe that you are bashing the service of a young man in war. John Kerry volunteered for service, started off in a boat patrolling the coastal waters (pretty safe) and then was reassigned to the most dangerous mission of patrolling the inland waterways.

Are you now going to giggle and laugh at our men and women in Iraq? I don't see you picking up a gun and defending Bush's war on the ground in Iraq?

The more I hear and understand about John Kerry's war experience, the more I respect him. In fact, HALDEMAN (remember him?) was awed by his performance before congress and said so to Nixon (it's on the tapes). In fact, they were so impressed by Kerry that they recruited their own dirty tricks campaign...guess who...John O'Neill. Yep, that schlub liar.

Note this interesting point. With all of the power of the government at his disposal and everything fresh, Nixon could not find anything to discredit Kerry.
