Dems favor handouts and dependence.

This is the major difference. Democratic policies have failed to help blacks in the last 40 years. When Dems controlled the house/senate and whitehouse they did nothing for Blacks. Sure you can point to gov. giveaways, but give a man a fish and he will depend on you and VOTE for you. Teach a man to fish and he will feed his own family and vote for the system that helped him succeed. Put Blacks in public housing was like putting them back in slavery!

The percentage of young black men who graduated from HS was unchanged in 8 years of BILL CLINTON!

Blacks have proven that when placed in the right educational environment they can be good students and productive citizens. Bush's NCLB attempts to give blacks a chance through education.

THIS is what Bill Cosby was trying to say! SHOW me what the Democrates did for the black youth of this country. Most black leaders are coddling to the Dems. For what? To have the same old failed policies of the "great society?"

You're the ultimate hypocrite. The DEM ways didn't work. Public housing is being demolished in place like Chicago because it doesn't work.
