That's life, it is background-level inflation. It was more expensive for you to live under Clinton than under Bush 41, too. It has nothing to do with Bush, and therefore nothing to do with the question at hand.

So, you really don't know WHAT you heard, do you? Surely, something like that would be readily found on the Internet. Yet, it isn't.

I'll show you a PhD student in economics that's doing his dissertation on why Reaganomics is a crock.

You don't convey the knowledge a PhD student in economics would have. Of course, if you believe Reaganomics is a crock, that pretty much tells the story.
