Spitzer wants higher office at the cost of billions to the American economy.

Last year, he helped screw the markets with the Grasso fiasco. This year, as the market is rebounding, he hopes to steal more publicity for himself during this period before the presidential election.

It won't be long until the people he is pissing off come up with stuff in Spitzer's closet. Remember that Spitzer made tens of millions himself with hedge funds in the 90's. Spitzer knows about the inner dealings, which likely made him that money.

Higher office for Spitzer? Probably in New York, as even a Schumer can be senator.

Any higher national position is unlikely for Spitzer, unless he helps capture bin Laden.
