Have you considered the possibility that Mary Cheney wants to keep a low personal profile. She was out long before the 2000 election and attended her father's convention speech in the company of her partner. Kerry's reference to her in the debate was calculated, pure and simple. A mistake on Kerry's part. An event that will chew up news cycles through the weekend.
