That's the sheer incompetence and total lack of respect Bush et al have for what Kissinger used to call 'cannon fodder.'
It's despicable.

You support Bush so much, why aren't you in Iraq fighting for him? Why? They're taking people well past 50 because the need is so great.

It is Vietnam redux. When they come back without limbs, with grevious life-changing injuries, the military bureaucracy treats them like s***.
