Tim, they want a "shop" car they all can work on. They've found an old Mustang, no engine, dirt cheap, and a 460 engine to drop in it. I told them that was way too much engine but the gang had already made plans to reinforce the frame and rear end. They said if it doesn't work they'll try another engine.

These are 16-17 year olds. Talented group of young people. My 17 yr old has already pulled two engines and replaced them in buddies cars. I didn't even know he had done that at other guys houses and was so mechanically inclined until a few months ago. Now I know why he's been wanting a shop so much!

These kids almost live at our house now, espeically on weekends. I suspect that when that shop gets built, they'll all move in out there! (g)
