I'll Bet She Spends More Than That On Her Second-Hand Jet

AP Wire | 10/15/2004 | Heinz Kerry reports nearly $2.3 million income, $800,000 in taxes

WASHINGTON - Teresa Heinz Kerry made nearly $2.3 million in 2003 and had a federal and state tax bill of close to $800,000, according to tax forms filed Friday.

Heinz Kerry, who has an estimated worth of about $750 million, will receive a refund of just under $248,000 for overpaying her federal taxes and is applying that to her 2004 filing.

This is, of course, a joke.

Seven hundred million invested at one percent would return an annual income of seven million dollars. Seven hundred million invested at the current 2 year t-bill rate of 2.52 percent would yield about 16.64 million. People in Teresa's income neighborhood fire their financial managers if they can't find a way to squeeze ten percent per annum out of financial assets - around seventy million per for the Ketchup Kween's stash.

And this boob is impressed by 2.3 million? My first question is: Where the hell is she hiding it? Let's see her freaking tax returns, okay? Right after we see her boy-toy's military records.
