Another LORAL Stall tactic. 18 mos in bankruptcy, a record! Loral says to emerge from bankruptcy early in 2005 Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:33 AM ET NEW YORK, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Bankrupt satellite operator Loral Space & Communications Ltd. (LRLSQ.OB: Quote, Profile, Research) on Friday said it has reached a final agreement with creditors and expects to leave Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the first quarter of 2005. The company expects to file a revised economic plan in court by Oct. 22. Under the plan, Loral's Space Systems/Loral and Loral Skynet businesses will emerge intact as separate subsidiaries.
