My point is whomever let the trucks get that bad and lose the escort needs to be answering some questions. BTW, we had an ambulance with a shot clutch, wouldn't pull itself in 4th gear. Repair place in K-Town said the specs said it was an off the road vehicle and 3rd gear was good enough. Now that puppy was used for transporting patients on the Autobahn so 35 wasn't good enough. I hauled the vehicle back to the motor pool, nosed it against the wall, stuck it in 4th and let the clutch out. It took about 3 minutes and then it was smoking. I hauled it back, won't pull itself in 1st gear and BTW, it needs a tranny fluid and filter change.
