Why does he site the opponent's daughter rather than a gay celebrity, or a gay friend of his own? The answer is obvious to me. Well, it escapes me, so help us out and explain. I think he simply wanted to remind the voting public that Cheney has a gay daughter. That has implications among some of the GOP religious right anti-gay voters. I don't think she is the best example of a gay individual that he can choose to name in a nationally televised debate. Why do you think he chose her instead of A) a well known gay celebrity, or B) a gay person that he knows personally?
