Yosid, as usual, you're not making any sense at all. Using your LASIK rationale, I'll say this: If doctors say it's fine to do LVC in a mobile, then patients will do it. So far, hundreds of docs have requested mobile access, so that tells you something. Besides, LVCI is primarily fixed-site now, but is adding mobiles to enter markets which cannot support fixed sites yet, and maybe never will. You should be rooting for LVCI, since its mobile strategy benefits Summit's royalties, and helps build the market (just like LASIK, right?).
Why do you think VisX and Autonomous have made their lasers mobile-capable? They know mobility will help build the market. Why did Summit not do this? Maybe because they didn't want a competitor's mobile Apex systems used against their ill-advised centers (fixed)... |
