thanks i see a big list on the optionsxpress site and have looked at all of them and even taken some of their free trials. i was already using trader toad for a couple years and was satisfied with their performance up until this year when he went neg for the year fairly early and has just now crossed back over into pos territory for the year. i also subscribed to mohan who used to be here on si.. he is with 21st century now and puts out a daily morning email before the market opens.. it is geared to sp500 minis.. i'm looking for a new guru.. most of them have such outrageous claims as to be dismissed off hand.. but there are a few that actually have a good system.. problem is the systems don't allow for changes in the trading environment on the short term such as we have had this year..
