The people investing in oil and gas in 1999 & 2000 were already a little contrarian, and few stayed in the tech downdraft, simply because they had stocks that weren't working (tech) and stock thast were working (energy) and they shifted as the tech drop proceeded - they didn't need to go short or predict the future.

Doubling every few trades would be great, especially if you can do it in a few months. Takes me about 2 years.

If you make 40% per, then pay taxes, it will take about 3 years to double. Figure one down year 10-20% about every or 5-6 In 12-15 years you can have 10x your starting funds.
If you start with 30k or even 300k, that won't even get close to getting you a magazine article.

But it sure feels good.

Jay has posted most of his trades for a few years now, and I think he has done over 25% per year.
