Your poem is lovely, but so sad. I am hopeful

I will endeavor to do my part and be hopeful with you. :)

Such a beautiful poem of yours, Dave. Thank you. I was thinking about it today on the road. I had been waiting to wander these parts again until I felt a little quieter, and there is nothing like a long drive for that, and for half of the drive, the company of my eldest niece who has grown into a most amazing young woman. So I was thinking of this poem of yours again, arm out the window, the trees with the brush of autumn beginning to show and I thought how that poem felt like a light breeze, maybe sweetly warm ~ maybe with teasing coolness of autumn, and how it feels to let that breeze caress and silence until it winds its way into our soul. or something like that. Thank you. It really touched a spot in me.

and such gentle and sensual poems people have graced the thread with to enjoy and ease the savage soul. So I reached back way back and came up with something gentle for the evening ::smile::
