I've noticed many people on the right have a big hate on for gay people. Many people on the right suggest that being gay is a life-style choice, that being gay is a sin. I mean, I've heard some pretty strong words here against being gay on this thread (ask prolife for his views, lol). If the right is insistent that being gay is wrong, that it is a sin, then I think it is fair game to mention that the vice president's daughter is lesbian, but only if she is openly so. I've been called a liberal queer lover here at SI. If the emotions on the right are so strong about the gay issue, then there is no good reason to keep it a secret about the vice president's daughter, imo. And when Dick Cheney said Kerry is "a man who will do and say anything to get elected," is ironic, considering how the Bush administration did and said everything so it could go to war with Iraq. At least Kerry is being truthful.
