Trying to prove he's unlike his thoughtful father, he invaded Iraq without a plan, and drove up 2 trillion in deficits.

The trouble with Bush is that he likes to believe he is functioning as God's instrument for peace and liberty and much more in the Middle East. His policies are mostly faith- based, not reality-based. He also asks folks to trust his instincts. No wonder he went into Iraq without a plan. In his mind, with help from on high, he just could not fail. But I think he is self-deluded like most self-styled "Messianic" visionaries.

However, the unfortunate part is that many Fundamental Christians believe Bush has God's blessings and work towards getting others to believe like they do.
