Whine, whine, whine. It's pathetic. Mary Cheney isn't a child and "young woman" is stretching a point. She's 34. Not exactly paedophile material. Privacy? She hasn't been seeking privacy and has on the contrary been deliberately public on the issue and her position in it and full on campaigning for Dick.

I wonder whether the polls were of people who actually saw the discussion or were there leading questions "Do you think that gay children of politicians should be targets of political attack?" Yes/No.

I think there would be 2:1 against gay children being targeted.

Meanwhile, more Americans killed in action. But let's forget them - there's plenty more where they came from. What about important stuff, such as the lipstick on the pig? Who's a public homosexual and should John Kerry have mentioned her and the obvious hypocrisy in the Bush camp? This is apparently where the serious Presidential action is!

How's the chicken flu defence system going? Or is King George II busy worrying about putting lipstick on Dick Cheney? He was too busy to sort out Osama's airborne attack plan too. He had some fiddling to do while Rome burned, not to mention a few rounds of golf.
