Are you suggesting that it is wrong to be less blunt than I am? That being "diplomatic" is a "lie?" I am shocked! Cute, but it doesn't answer my question. You said: "That paragraph was a diplomatic attempt to get Hollywood liberals to listen to him." Did you mean that he didn't mean it and only said it to get Hollywood liberals to listen to him? Or did you mean that he did mean it and said it knowing it would resonate with Hollywood liberals and get them to listen to him?
