Sometime last week, I don't even remember the school district it was in, but a parent is filing charges against the teacher and the school for "holding his son hostage and forcing the entire class to watch Farenheit 9/11"

I believe this was in a middle school, 5th and 6th graders.

This is outrageous! I hope the school takes notice and doesn't allow this to happen again. I also hope that other schools take notice too. If the teacher felt so strongly that the children should watch this movie, they should have sent home permission notices and given the parents a choice as to if they want their kids watching or not.
