There is no way for any of us to tell how it works out. Since we broke it, it seems to me we at least have the obligation to try to rid the country of terrorists, baathists, saddams security apparatus etc. I would love to see alawi get the nod in the coming elections but if it is al sadr and chalabi it may be no fun, but it is not saddam with wmd dreams and invade your neighbor mentality and thats good nor is it al quaeda with iran like mullocracy which given the multi ethnic nature of the state will more that likely be iran-lite even with al sadr playing a role. Any idea what the true relationship is between al sadr and sistani. Chalabi and Sistani i believe have a good relationship. I think there is a possiblity of channelling al sadr into constructive works. AFter all al sharpton was not much more than a street thug and now he runs for president, provides some much needed humor in politics. mike
