You ignore the fact that the Bush administration made the case for war with Iraq primarily based on the idea that Saddam had WMDs. Although plenty of others citizens, Senators and cuontries came to the same conclusion, the leading advocates of that view in the US was the Bush administration.

And they were completely wrong, as we now know.

Doesn't that make you wonder about Bush's ability at all?

To assess available information, come to a conclusion, undertake the largest military operation since Vietnam, and then find out that the conclusion you came to from the available information was COMPLETELY wrong.

In your mind, this is a "who cares?" issue in evaluating the President of the USA's ability?
