My name is Terri DuBose McGregor. My brother,Jim DuBose, is a Vietnam vet, as were two of my brothers-in-law. My Dad,J ames DuBose served his country proudly, in both the Army and the Air Force, for 34 years(from the "30's until 1967, when he retired). My family, as well as my husband's, has served this country honorably for many years. It pains me to think that they served with a man who so dishonored our country as to turn his back on his fellow vets and to accuse his fellow veterans of the atrocities that he himself was the one to commit(by his own admission). My brother was wounded in Vietnam, and when he returned home, he was not given the respect he deserved. Instead, he was spit on. Kerry came home, testified to Congress, lied to Congress, and was treated as a returning hero(this from the man who betrayed his fellow vets). Tell me what's wrong with this picture!!!. My Dad and three of his brothers served in WWII, and they're probably rolling in their graves at the thought of the idea that this scum could possibly become president of our great nation. My heart goes out to those families of the POW/MIA's who didn't return and who were ultimately betrayed by Kerry and his committee who didn't seem to think that fellow Americans and veterans were important enough to keep searching for. My thoughts and prayers have long been with you. Please add my name to the growing list of veterans and their families against John Kerry. I will vote for George W. Bush, and I stand in support of all those who have served and still serve(both men and women), to protect our great nation and our freedoms.
