Surprised me too. Sold some more today. Yes, I would have preferred to sell today as it turned out. But maybe I should have waited until tomorrow, or Thu, or ....
Since we have to make our decisions without benefit of hindsight, we each have to learn a few rules to live by. One such rule I have developed: when it seems too good to be true, sell at least some of it.
What's going on? Some decent news, some hyping, some shorting and covering, lots of day-trading, all in a stock with a small float. Some are looking towards the talk tomorrow, some to the demo on Thu, some look longer term and some are just along for the ride - however long it lasts. I have no clue what will happen tomorrow. You could argue that it topped out today and will go lower. Or that it just went up too fast and needed the breather before heading higher. Saw some people complaining that there aren't enough borrowable shares to short - I have no idea how that affects the market dynamics. |
