Today's report: G415 Q435

It seems that Q is setting off to lap G yet again. Those Aztecs are certainly losing ground.

In pre-split currency, G415 Q870.

I am glad I didn't take your advice Jay. Though it would have been better to swap my US$ at $323 which I turned down a couple of years ago, when visiting Johnson Matthey to check it out, rather than holding the USD at derisory interest rates. It would have been fun to play with pieces of eight.

On the other hand, I've spent a chunk of said USD, [some on even worse investment] so with in and out transaction costs on the Au, I wouldn't have been all that far ahead of my USD. My USD are quite liquid - a phone call can move them with low transaction costs. I'd have to dig up my gold and carry it at risk of life and limb and theft to some dealer. What if I forgot where I buried it? Or somebody found it while I was away on holiday?
