A global test does not give anyone a veto, but it does give them an opinion. They are going to have an opinion anyway but a smart leader can learn a lot by listening to these opinions.

Bush gave them every opportunity to express an opinion. What are you complaining about?

Right. A veto. Bush explained and justified it to our friends. They vetoed it. They were wrong.

Had Kerry been in office, Saddam would still be paying France and Russia to side with him against us, murdering innocents, holding 22M people against their will, stonewalling the UN inspectors, shooting at our pilots, starving his people and watching them die for lack of medical care, and terrorists would be trying to attack us HERE instead of THERE.

And Kerry would be saying, "You know, we just can't do anything about it -- Chirac doesn't think it is a good idea".

No, thanks.
