Ted, Is it cultural or something bigger? Homosexuality typically is between two consenting adults. Pedophilia typically is between an adult and an nonconsenting minor. Seems to me there is a big difference between the two.

How have we judged that the minor is automatically "non-consenting"? Was that scientifically proven, or is that something we "just know" in our heart of hearts?

I said typically.......that implies most of the time but not all the time. If you know of situation[s] where the altar boy[s] enjoyed the experience, feel free to bring it/them up.

Suffice to say that there are people in academia who are challenging the very taboo of pedophilia, or at least the taboo of statutory rape. Most of us have already drawn our personal boundaries, but even those boundaries are being blurred by our relativistic culture.

What garbage are you fabricating? You have heard of Megan's Law, have you not? You do know that in many states and all the western states, the residence of a sexual offender must be published and the neighborhood canvassed? You have heard of the Amber Alert? You do understand that most sex offenders are hounded to near death?

What boundaries are getting blurred by "our relativistic culture" other than those in your imagination?
