Mandating 'volunteer' work amounts to moral fraud

<Here is a column I agree with that will get me an argument.>

Lindy, I vehemently disagree with you that you will get an argument, from me anyway. That is, unless you are a military draft supporter, which several of your correspondents here seem to be.

We Liberals need to stick together. Freedom means more than freedom to obey the dictates of whoever is boss of the government at the time and to kowtow to the immoral majority who happen to transiently hold the monopoly of power.

So far, my order of preference for President is Michael Badnarik of the liberals/aka Libertarians lp.org then George Bush, then John Kerry. I'd support John Kerry if he was going to rev up the UN to really do its job, but he won't. I think Bush is more likely to defend Taiwan against totalitarian attack [from China].

Bush likes Uncle Al KBE, has ditched Kyoto's CO2 agreement [good riddance], got rid of Saddam [so far, unless Saddam wins the Iraq election and is, as he said, the most popular leader, in which case the USA, being in favour of democracy, and Iraq sovereignty, would find itself in an invidious position]. Bush has cut dividend taxes so I'm being paid regularly in a reasonable amount.

Bush invaded Afghanistan and sorted out the Taleban and a lot of the Al Q gang. That was a good thing.

Have we got an argument yet?

Which one is against affirmative action?
