I think Aviv does not want partners and if he needs to stall for some time due to some unforeseen delays he would like to have the upfront cash to do so But why not wait until after January, after DEX results are out and the stock price much greater, to get that money? The only reason I can think of for getting the money now vs Feb 05 is insurance against the risk of bad P III. In a truly blind study they wouldn't know the results yet, so I don't read this going to the well as a sign that they know the results are bad, but it is still a worry. Also Pharmos has a long history of not-well-thought-out financing deals. So again, I don't read too much into just one more. Just my thoughts. Clark
