Look reasonable folks can agree that we have two flawed candidates. Kerry strikes me as a pseudo pacifist and you are right bush without fp expertise went with cheney-rummy-wolfy. Iraq didnt go as planned although these guys refuse to admit any error and no one is held accoutable. This bothers the hell out of me. But Kerry, despite the language of hunting down and killing all the terrorists, is not believable to me on WOT issues. Preemption may be too broad a word but i want the essential piece of it to remain and that is the ability to go everywhere and anywhere to rout out terror cells and influence the behaviour of terror states. Nation building is ok when and where it can work. There is alot of trial and error there. Maybe what happened in iraq was inevitable. I am not sure of that at all. So it comes down to voting for the devil we know or the devil we dont. Its a tough question witness the closeness of the race. If Kerry wasnt perceived as a wishy washy pacifist type, he would have had an easy win. A guy like Biden would be cleaing bushes clock and we might be on the same side Michael. Mike
