I think you're onto something. Might explain all the paperwork confusion over Kerry's discharge from the Navy, as well as his being AWOL from the Senate for much of his 20 years there. He was never actually discharged, you see. He's been a super-top-secret Navy SEAL special counter-intelligence superhero w/ "V" for Valor ever since that fateful Christmas in Cambodia. In fact, he led a team that infiltrated Osama's cave complex through a ventilation shaft and was only a few yards away from him when Sidney (played by Jennifer Garner, who is not a lesbian, but her father is proud of her anyway) heard the "abort" call from Bush himself (in spite of his campaign promises to end late-mission abortion) over her nano-tech communications implant and literally dragged Kerry away from his target. ;-)
