The article I posted indicates there are NOT programs out the wazoo to provide for that.

It is not the child's fault that his/her parents are irresponsible, the child bears no fault for that.

After the kid is born, go ahead and throw the parents in jail (though I would think for the health of the infant it should have regular contact with the mother at least for the first year), or require the mother to have a birth control implant. But we should also do our utmost to make sure the child is born healthy and develops normally.

The article I posted cites evidence that during the Bush administration, abortions actually INCREASED because the mothers felt they had nowhere to turn. That should not be happening.
