Spitzer never did follow up on the Weill investigation(s). Seems right after Ruben got the vice chair job at Citicorp, big fires became little ones and ended with that small sentence for Frank Quattrone, which wasn't really one of Spitzer's targets in the first place.

Sandy is big, but his lean isn't clear as he contributes his and Citicorp's funds across both parties.

It's clear where Rubin's head is, and I cannot blame him for that. If Kerry wins, it's pretty certain he'll be either Treasury Secy or the next FED head.
