That doesn't help him think his policies through, it only makes friends not trust in him anymore.


Well.... Bush did say that the UN should back up its statements (Saddam you are a bad man and a danger to the world) with action. The UN did agree with Bush....initially. But when Bush decided to go to war with Saddam, the UN folded.

I can't fault DR's objection to UN hypocrisy on this one. The UN should have sanctioned the invasion, in my opinion. It's the UN's failure to do so that left the entire world in a "no win" situation, and left George with the only option to unilaterally go to war (or let Saddam win the international political battle).

I think George has mucked up the post-major combat portion of operations in Iraq, and I don't hink his admistration planned for the post major combat operations to the degree that the leader of the free world should have.....but its the UN's fault for setting up Saddam's regime as the one to be destroyed, and then not following through with its destruction.

Just my opinion!
