Hi Ray,

The cheap energy policy made America a fool's paradise, and now reality is setting in.

Sure, there are new initiatives to pipe in natural gas from Alaska, and ship it in from overseas. But the economics of these schemes are based on higher gas prices. Nuclear safety is still a scary problem, and of course the whole global warming issue is simmering away on the back burner. All of this will add to energy costs, and the economy will have to adjust. It's quite an interesting challenge.
