Rose, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Uncle B's Bakery, Inc. (NASDAQ:UNCB), announced today that the Company has reached an agreement with Walmart Super Stores to begin distributing the Uncle B's brand of refrigerated bagels to approximately 80% of their existing store network. Initial shipments of bagels to Walmart Super Stores began today (August 27th) and will be available through six of their seven distribution centers. Uncle B's Bakery anticipates over $1 million in annual sales volume from the Walmart Super Stores. ``We are looking forward to entering the Walmart Super Stores with our Uncle B's brand refrigerated bagel,'' says Chairman and CEO, William T. Rose, Jr. ``They have become a leader in the retail industry with their super store concept and we are happy to be a part of this success.''
