When one thinks "end justifying the means", Iraq war on wrong premise comes to mind.

There was no "wrong premise". There were MANY PREMISES. WMD? It is clear that given Saddam's payoff to Chirac and Putin, Saddam would have been back in the WMD business soon. Besides, the reasons for going to Iraq were many as stated by the Administration.

When you think about "destruction of democracy", Ashcroft comes to mind.

Hardly.

And how can you not think of the president in the debates, when you talk about "childish temper tantrum" ?

Comment not worthy of a response.
